: Having bought an Omega Seamaster (model
: 2332.20.00) on 8/1/00 it looses time badly.

No wonder -- since it is only 1/12/00 right now, you appear to have lost almost eight months somewhere! :)

: - i'm sure it's wound up enough - and is
: over two minutes slow now. It looses time
: badly while worn, but at rest is fine!

It sounds like something in the mechanism is reacting poorly to your body movements. This should not occur if you have a relatively normal life and are not unusually active (you aren't a jackhammer operator or such).

Also, make sure you are not around strong magnetic fields. I heard from a phone technician once that discovered his watch would go nuts from the strong electromagnetic fields in some of the large wiring closets he had to work in.

If no such unusual conditions of vibration, activity, or electromagnetism exist in your life, then it sounds like time to take the watch back to the dealer for a check.
