Re: Black Face Seamaster Pro
In Response To: Black Face Seamaster Pro ()

: zOwie said that this model may be introduced at
: the Basel 2000 show in March. Did they
: introduce it early?

No.

The dark blue face (dial) of the Seamaster is easy to confuse the color -- especially on the models with the steel bezel. The dial is actually made of a navy blue and blue-gray wave pattern. The gray highlight makes some people perceive the dial as black.

This is actually an advantage, since it makes the watch look equally good with black or blue outfits.

But is really is a blue dial. If you hold it next to the GMT which has a truly black dial, you should see the difference.
