I have and omega seamaster diver pro chrono made in 1996. Omega says that the difference between the my model and the current models are the 1996 models the mech is goldplated(?) and the current is rhodium plated. Any response? I am tempted to send my watch to omega service centre to have it opened and checked. oh, one more question, if i leave my choro running all the time, will it damage my mechanism?
