Anyone use their warranty for maintenance?

Hi everyone:

My Omega SMPC is coming near the close of its warranty period.

I was wondering if anyone has sent their watch in for a routine annual maintenance at or towards the end of their warranty, and if Omega is willing to perform such a maintenance under their warranty?

I am not even sure it needs any maintenance other than checking the gaskets. I was wondering if I was better off waiting until I notice a significant change in the timing, or if I should just perform regular maintenance like changing the oil on your car...

I think if you start cleaning the parts inside, moving them around and relubricating might have an adverse effect on a presently well functioning watch?

Suggestions?...

P.S. I just ordered a Rubber Strap from Swatch Group USA on Friday (price: $147.50 SD), and am looking forward to a new look for my watch!
