Yup, brand new (in theory), together with my 2531.80. I've emailed Maria Mastrodonato at Omega with the serial number to find out when the watch left the factory. I'd have a hard time believing this piece was over a year old.

Good point. By the way, the dealer told me that they could replace the battery and verify water resistance in-house, but to do so would void the balance of the Omega warranty. It's a shame Omega won't trust their authorized dealers with this kind of absurdly simple work.

Another reason why I personally prefer automatics.
