Rarity ? yes, quite rare. They come up occasionally on eBay, but I've never found the "right one at the right price".

Price ? I'd start the bidding at 100 USD... ( a LOT depends on condition, location - import duties , papers, box , strap or bracelet etc etc )

The pic above is from a 1984 German catalogue that I have.

To be honest, you have most of the Info already that we collectors need.

the 196-0230 is the case Ref number...
1337 is the movement type ( quartz )
& 44,568,740 is the movement serial number

Omega don't release details on the number of watches made.
