It had to go back for service after it came to a halt. The only heavy activity in recent past was a full day at the police shooting range. We shot with M16s, Uzi, Galil, M1, and my own Glock. This cannot be directly linked to the watch incident but them's the facts. Most shooting stances, including the Weaver, are on the weapon and/or locked on the shooting hand. So they more or less take the recoil. You might want to ask Omega themselves and see what they say. If they say no, you can get them on flase advertising, i.e. Bond/SMP. He uses a Walther P99, 9mm. Very similar to my Glock. M16 and M1 might be another matter.
