News On The X-33 Seamaster.....

I wrote Omega suggesting they look into making an X-33 Seamaster with a 300m/1000ft water resistance for Yacht Racing. I said it was much better suited for Yacht Racing than was the Seamaster Professional because of the different functions. Here is the reply I recieved this morning:

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your net message and your interest in our products. We are very pleased to receive such a good suggestion but we do not plan to release the Speedmaster X-33 as a Seamaster Professional with a water-resistance of 300m/1000ft. Please be informed that the Kiwis (the New Zealand team) worn the Speedmaster X-33 during the race of The America’s Cup which were good to use the different functions. The Seamaster 300M are used mostly for deep diving. Should you need further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us again.

Best regards,

Céline Rossel
