Re: Change bracelet on Seamaster Professional

That is exactly what happened: I went into a watch shop, saw a nice Hirsch leather strap, bought it and asked the salesperson to change the bracelet. She scratched the bracelet badly in the process :-(( You can imagine how I felt...

(I talked to the store manager and they replaced the scratched part.)

Thanks for the information!!

: The bracelet and straps for the Seamaster
: attach just like they do on 95+% of all
: watches -- with simple spring pins. There
: are tools available to do the job right. See
: the zOwie links page for suppliers.

: Using the wrong tool (like a small pocket
: knife) may cause you to slip and scratch the
: watch, bracelet, or strap. The right tool
: makes the process real smple and redused the
: risk of scratching the watch.

: Also, any watch shop should be able to change
: it for you in just a minute or so.
