I already posted condolences to the WUS forum but not yet here, for some reason I wasn't ready to post here until now. I always thought of this place as zOwie's "home" on the web so it felt weird to post, but now seeing all the many condolence posts it's my turn...

This was the first watch site I ever found, and I have learned so much from Derek and the many regular contributors. Many thanks to Derek for all the work he put into this site and for helping others, including me. And many thanks to those who have volunteered their efforts to keep this site online in the future.

I never knew Derek personally, but watches is a fun and important part of my life and his Chronocentric site is partly responsible, for that I am thankful to him.
