Two questions for Derek

Derek, you seem to be the most knowledgeable person I've come across on Omega SMPs. I would be most grateful if you can satisfy my curiousity on two minor trivias:

1. Do you know what kind of finish or lacquer is used on the SMP's bezel to give it the blue coloring?

2. Do you know what material is used to produce the sea wave dial on the SMP?
