Great Experience: My first TWO Omegas!

Well, I didn't plan it, but as it happened I got my first and second Omegas ever this past weekend. The first is a steel SMP, 2531.80 that is simply impressive on my wrist. I love the blue on blue, and the massive size and solid feel. Got it from Terry Allison himself, who was a prince to deal with--first rate all the way.

Second was obtained up in Boston at Alpha-Omega, where sales person Bruce Savage does business the old-fashioned way, by building relationships with his fellow watch enthusiasts. It's a Deville Prestige Tonneau Jumping Hours (4853.61.01) in steel with a copper-toned dial on black leather. It's a stylish piece with an Omega 1221 movement, COSC certified even though it lacks a seconds hand, which is a bit odd for a chronometer. But I love the dial, and it complements my Chronoswiss Delphis in the odd dial/weird hands department. Color me happy!
