Re: Is it okay to take my SMP in the jacuzzi?

: Will it fog up if I jump into the cold pool
: from the hot jacuzzi? Just wanted to ask
: before I did something that I'd regret...

I'll probably get my ass kicked from one end of zOwie to the other for this, but here goes...

The FAQ correctly advises against it, but I've worn my SM Pro to the gym up to three times a week for over a year -- where it can go from a hot steam room, to a cold pool, to a hot jacuzzi within an hour -- without any trouble at all. Some would say such treatment of the watch is gratuitous, but when I'm diving in the Med, the watch can be very hot from exposure to the sun before a dive into very cold water and again, it has always coped without any problem.

Having said all that, maybe it's because I deliberately chose the more robust quartz SMP, which would appear to be very tolerant of such abuse -- YMMV.
