Omega SMP Chrono

Derek,

I have a smp chrono. I sometimes when I activate the chrono, the seconds hand seems to move smoothly, but sometimes seem to slightly "jump" or stop just for a split second. Hardly noticable. Then again, at times it seems fine. I am not sure if it is just me, or a choronometer illusion if I hadn't seen the seconds hand move for a while. It is usually in the "off" position. I don't know if you ever experienced something like this before, or maybe it may as well be an illusion. The bottom line is that it still keeps good time. Minute by minute. The skipping and hopping doesn't seem to change the timing at all. but I still can't figure what it is. Can you help?
