Anytime you buy on eBay, you are completely trusting the seller to deliver the watch as described and in appropriate condition after taking your money.

So examine the eBay feedback on the seller and decide whether you wish to trust sending $900 to this person in exchange for what you believe he is selling you. Generally, the feedback on this seller looks good. Also, look at the seller's OTHER auctions. In this case, it includes what appears to be a fake Rolex. You decide how to assemble that information into your own opinion.

Or, you can check the reputable used watch dealers and get one for close to the same price from a dealer that you hear to be reputable.

I'd pursue those options before considering going the gray-market route.
