In Response To: Re: Help! Bezel Allignment SPC ()

: If I understand your question correctly, I am
: not sure how to tell if the face is properly
: positioned in the case, however, at face 12
: the "V" is slightly to the right
: and the 30 appears equally off to the left.
: However, when at face 9 the bezel
: "V" lines up but the bezel 30 is
: slightly below the face 3. At face 8 bezel
: "V" again is alligned but bezel 30
: is even more off (below) at face 2.

: So what do you think? Does your bezel really
: line up PERFECTLY all the way around?
: Someone mentioned to me that there is a
: "break in period" and that the
: bezel would eventually line up. I don't know
: if this make sense, I have never noticed
: this with other dive watches I have owned.

perfection is conceptual and asking too much; i am happy with the alignment on mine. it lines up from my observation.

my previous point was if the "V" lines up to face 12 and the 30 lines up to the 6 face as well as all the other 5 minute marks, then it doesn't matter about the rotation. cause if you rotate it another 5 minutes all the other markers should line up. i'm not being maticulous every 1/4 of a second; however do the suggestions that i mentioned before. look at other SMPC at the dealer, do a survey, get multiple opinions if your not comfortable. if everyone else agrees that it's aligned then i quess your a perfectionist. :0)
