How to clean Bezel? (more)

Good afternoon,
I have a Seamaster Professional that I bought a few months ago. It has the blue face and bezel. Terrific watch. This morning I noticed what look like dried water spots of some sort on the crystal and bezel. I was able to get the spots off the bezel with my non-abrasive eyeglass cleaning cloth. However, I am not able to remove them from the bezel. Any suggestions? I certainly do not want to do anything that will harm the watch. I treat this watch very well; I have never even been swimming with it, though I plan to sometime. The only thing I think this could be is a little dried soap from when I washed my car the other day. The soap I used is VERY mild and gentle.
Thanks in advance.
