Read the zOwie Wristwatch FAQ. It has a section covering this. The quick answer is that there is no one answer. Each watch acts differently, even two with adjacent serial numbers will not be the same. So you have to experiment to see what works best for yours.

But my choice is to sleep wearing the watch. That way I can easily see the time if I wake up in the middle of the night.
