Re: How do I manually winding my Seamaster?

: Until then, I want to manually winde my
: Seamaster every night. I may even leave the
: crown out when I'm not wearing it so I don't
: have to always be tightening and loosening
: it.

If you're wearing the watch every day, and are reasonably active, this shouldn't be necessary.

: How do I manually wind the seamaster? I tried
: what I though was winding it and it didn't
: feel like it was winding. It didn't make any
: little click sounds or anything. This was
: turning the crown towards me. When turning
: it the other way, it felt like it was
: rubbing on something inside. Any input would
: be great thanks!

Sounds like you were getting it right on the second attempt! You pull the crown out to position 1 and rotate it away from you (ie clockwise). You should feel a very slight resistance as you do this. It's been advised on zOwie that around twenty turns should be sufficient, although you can't "overwind" it.
