If you are considering purchasing on the Internet...shop around and call the customer service numbers of the websites for additional information. While many grey market dealers on the internet do buff the serial numbers off of the case, many others do not. You've got to do your homework, but you can save a lot of money and end up with a new watch at used watch prices.
