Congratulations on your omega! I have had a SMP chrono for 11 years now and still love to see what time it is! It is a classic watch, I think. Mine looks good on its bracelet, on a NATO strap, and I, too, have had my eye on a rubber strap (I think the navy blue color would look great with the blue dial).

Unlike mine, you can leave yours in a drawer for a couple of weeks and it will still be correct when you get back to it!!! Of course, it will probably be a long time before you part with it for any length of time!
