I am an SMPC owner but have a generic question concerning the power reserve in modern mechanical watches. Given a fully wound, mechanical chronograph watch, will the watch "wind down" faster if the subsidiary chrono hands are running vice leaving them stopped. I'm neither a horologist or physicist, but it would seem logical that more hands running require more power; however, if I'm not mistaken, the same amount of regulated power is transfered through the watch movement for each cycle or beat -- no matter how many hands are operating. Is this close to the mark or do I need to review physics 101?
