Re: MSRP Prices and other questions.

: Hello all,

: I am just now getting started looking at Omega
: watches. This purchase will be made in the
: next 1-2 years as I have to save up for it.
: I was looking at the new old Bond watch
: 2531.80 and the 2254.50.

: I have a question about these watches: 1. Are
: they both going to be available in the next
: 1-2 years?

: 2. What are their MSRPs?

: 3. Who is an authorized dealer with good
: prices. I'm willing to take referrals,
: because I think on a watch this expensive,
: tax is going to kill me (Although some might
: say if I'm worried about tax, why buy this
: watch!)

: Thanks so much,
: Brett

1) The Bond watch worn by Brosnan 2531.80 has been replaced by the newer one worn by Daniel Craig, the 2220.80 which has a Co-Axial movement. That being said, the 2531.80 has been one of Omega's most popular watches many AD's still have inventory of this model. I don't quite know if that inventory will last for 2 years, but I would think you should still be able to find it within the next year. The Black SMP, 2254.50 is still a current Omega model and should still be around. Even if the rumor that Omega will eventually transition all the SMPs to the Co-Axial movement by 2009 is true, dealers should still have inventory by the time you make your purchase.

2) As for MSRP, both the 2531.80 and 2254.50 have an MSRP of $2,150.

3) I'll let other members who have been here longer refer you to an AD.
