: I have a related question to this.
: My SMP normally changes about +5 to +10 mins
: after midnight, however, I noticed the other
: night it changed +35 mins! The following
: night it was back to normal. I do not know
: why this happened and I don't know if it
: happens on a regular basis as I normally do
: not see my watch at midnight :) Any ideas ?
: Any cause for alarm?

I wouldn't worry. Even if your date change were off by 35 minutes, it can be adjusted when your watch goes in for its regular servicing. Just ask the watchmaker to inspect the date change mechanism and adjust it accordingly. In your case, though, it sounds like it was just an unusual occurrence.
