Seriously, I kinda wonder--. When I ask folks about their Bond Rolex watches, a lot of those conversations seem really tied to the Bond actor who wore the brand they prefer. A Sub Date is always a Dalton choice. But the classic Rolex Submariner comes down to a choice among "Connery's Rolex" versus, well, you get what I mean.

Here, and I'm speaking as a 007-oriented collector, I think it's not only that Pierce Brosnan "owns" the blue/blue Seamaster, but also that the "introduction" to Daniel Craig is w/ the Planet Ocean on rubber strap. Brand identification. Suitability to the man who wears it.

Those are my thoughts, given a question that's about "changing" from what you already own.
