Am I correct in thinking that if you do not have a date stamped on your warentee card that you could wait until your Omega has a problem and then predate the warentee card accordingly. From this logic, your warentee would extend to 2 years past your first problem instead of 2 years after purchase.

: name being printed on the card. The rest is
: usually hand-written in by the dealer with a
: pen, anyway. "Ref" is the model
: number of your watch, and "watch
: no" is the 8 digit serial number. You
: can get this by looking at the back of your
: watch's 7 o'clock lug. The 8 digit serial
: number will be engraved there.
