Re: New York AD
In Response To: New York AD ()

: Greetings all,
: This is my first post here but I've been
: lurking for sometime. Tomorrow I hope to
: venture to NYC in search of my first Omega -
: most likely a 2255.80.
: Despite the reduction of the number of ADs, are
: there any more good deals to be had in NYC?
: I actually live in North Jersey but assume
: that there might be more competition (albeit
: more sales tax) in the City. I'd greatly
: appreciate any suggestions - as well as a
: sense of how much off list I might expect (I
: recally reading that 35-40% off is typical
: but am not sure if this holds true anymore).
: Thank you very much.

: Adam

Adam,

I just sent you an e-mail with a referral to my former Omega AD in NYC, who still has some Omegas left, including the 2255.80 you are looking for. I can tell you that the good old days of 35-40% discounts from AD's are long gone, but my AD wants to clear out his remianing inventory so he may come very close to that level of discount.

Check your e-mail for further details.

-John
