Re: My Omega Watch Horror Story

Just curious, was you're watch quartz or automatic? If the stem was left open, then a "honest" dealer can tell if it's a seal problem or an open stem, by the amount of water in the watch. I may be wrong, but water in a quartz, will kill it for good. I don't trust my quartz Seamaster to be truly waterproof/water resistant since the new batt. was installed, just for safety. (and probably should have had the seals changed/checked, when the batt. was replaced, but didn't)
