Omega's Reply to SMPC Datechange

Around 29 June I posted regarding a problem I was having with the date change on my new SMPC Chronograph. I contacted Omega...you might find their reply of interest:

"Thank you for your e-mail regarding your Omega watch. Regarding the date
change, this is a gradual change and should occur between 11:30pm and
2:30am. Also plus 2 seconds a day for an automatic watch is within
manufacturer standards. Attached are instructions on how to send your
watch to our facility for evaluation regarding your clasp and bezel.
Please include a copy of our sales receipt or warranty card.

If you need further assistance, please contact our customer service
department at 1 800 456 5354 extension 3018.
