Stay away from this Seamaster 300.

Hi Guys,

I don't usually post links to fakes in eBay ( If I did I'd be posting all day long )

But this time I'll make an exception.

Seamaster 300 auction.

If you read the description, it appears that the seller knows Omegas. He describes in detail everything you need to know.

BUT he describes perfectly a 1039 bracelet & end pieces that are clearly NOT on the watch.

He also describes the dial.

Finally his comment (added after the auction has run for a few days ) "I'm sorry the band is NOT the original, but a stainless steel replacement. This should have no impact on the value of the watch itself." Is , from a collectors point of view completely wrong.

But look at the pics. Have you ever seen a Seamaster 300 dial like that ? I think this is a fake & the seller has simply lifted the description from another auction.

So someone is going to get stung big style on this one. But who ? Well currently it's Bidder 1.

This is exactly the type of auction that you should avoid. The description & pics just don't match. Detailed description, crappy pics.

If you are not 100% sure, stay away.

S.
