Compared to being a military pilot or an Arctic explorer my job is pretty mundane! But I was going by what I was told on the forum before, that sitting next a computer monitor at work could magnetise my watch. I also inspect buildings as part of my job, so I occassionally go into electrical intake or comms rooms etc.

Thanks for your thoughts on my watch needing a service etc, that does back up what my AD said.
