Chuck's Flea Market: Newbie needs a Speedy

Gentlepeople
I'll open Sir Charles' Flea Market with a WTB.

WTB: A nice Speedmaster Pro Moonwatch or pre-moon at a good price.

I'm a newbie in the watch world and I'm looking for a classic for my first quality mechanical watch.

I'm looking for a nice reasonably priced Speedy, probably an 861, that's for daily wearing. Needs to be straight and solid but not necessarily immaculate. I'll probably wear it on a strap, so a missing or compromised bracelet isn't an issue.

What do you have in your collection that's not getting enough TLC? Give it a good home. Sell it to me.

Trades considered (guitars? vintage Nikon photo gear?) or even barter (I'm a professional writer and editor, for the Wall Street Jorunal among other places.)

contact me at avincent52 AT aol DOT com.
