Re: winding coaxial seamaster
In Response To: winding coaxial seamaster ()

hi,

i hv a new po co-axial and no resistance when i turn up (towards 12) in position 1. the winding is however very smooth and i need to keep my hear to the watch to hear it. the other positions are as u describe them, are u sure u are not screwing the crown back tight, thus getting the resistance, or maybe yr watch is fully wound. sounds strange otherwise. cannot be of more help..

: i have a new seamaster coaxial.
: can someone describe the positions of the crown
: and it's functions?

: i thought it had three positions
: 1) after unscrewing it pops up to position 1. i
: used to wind the watch by turning it up
: [towards 12]. now when i do that i get
: resistance instead of smooth turning crown.
: it turns smooth if i go down [towards the
: 6].

: 2) position 2 does nothing if i turn it up and
: advances the date if i turn it down.

: 3) position 3 change the time.

: is this correct - why am i getting resistance
: when winding the watch up in position 1?
