It's a very attractive watch. That said, I think that men's mechanical dress watches from the 1950s and 1960s from Omega and other manaufactuers are both plentiful and cheap.
Girard-Perregeaux produced a lot of them too and they pop up on e-bay all the time. (no idea about the authenticity of the one below, just that it looked kinda cool)
So if this one gets bid up beyond your budget, there are other things out there. Another consideration. Buying a watch that's already been serviced might be a good idea--a $150 service on $200 watch gets you upside down in a hurry.
