help needed / omega s/s bracelet

Hello to all, and bear with me as I am a complete newbie. I bought on ebay an omega f300 electronic watch with a stainless steel bracelet which is marked 1125, as a gift for my husband. The watch is fine, beautiful, works perfectly... but the band is too small for my husband's wrist! I've seen the prices for new bands, and I balked! I noticed some people sell spare links, but it is difficult for me to understand which one would suit this bracelet. I think I might do with an aftermarket 15 mm bracelet extender, but I cannot find them anywhere! So, anyone can help me get out of this situation hopefully without spending a fortune? Thanks to all.
