Hi Mark,

From what you've described, it sounds OK.

It's impossible to say with any certainty, without a picture & various serial numbers etc ( feel free to send me a pic & I'll host & post ot for you )

The Seamaster range was used to describe all Omega's waterproof/ water resistant watches.

The Seamaster range wasthen broken down into other "sub-ranges".

It's hard to believe, but originally speedmasters were considered to be part of the seamaster range.
