Hi Tony,

That's a nice watch that you have. I obviously have no idea what is wrong with the watch & so can't realisticly say whether it is repairable or not.

Firstly here's a link to an AMAZING website covering a LOT of info on the Marine Chronometer & related watches Gino Mancini's Marine Chronometer web pages

I think however the watch that you have has the word "quartz" in the little placque embossed in the case below 06:00. This model has a 1320 Quartz movement in it.

Jules Borel => www.JulesBorel.com still list a lot of spares for this movement, which would suggest to me that it CAN be repaired. It is obviously a question of cost.

Do you have a local watchmaker that you use ?

If not, where abouts in the world are you ? I'm sure we can recommend a few Watchmakers.
