How much damage did I do?

Last night I set the date forward to May 1st, since it was correctly reading "31." However, I forgot that I shouldn't do that between 8pm-2am; it was only seconds after midnight. At first I turned the stem the wrong way while in the quick-date change mode (1st stage of stem-pull)and it simply clicked a couple of times without changing the date. I then turned it the other way, and the date changed as I had expected. A couple hours later my brother told me I could damage my watch by changing the date at that time. The question is: did I damage my new Omega, and if so, how much? It seems to be running fine, but I'm still very concerned.
