adding a link in NYC

My wife recently gave me a shiny new Speedy Day Date. She's the best. I love the watch but it's a little bit snug. I've seen some of the horror stories here of bracelets getting badly scratched by guys who don't know what they're doing. Can anyone recommend a reliable AD or jeweler in New York City to add a link for me?
