: I just bought a Speedmaster date chrono from a

: (not Roman) numerals and it has a red sweep
: chrono hand and red sub-dial hand for the
: elapsed minutes and hours. It was purchased
: new but they just gave me a box (one of many

: Thanks

I don't post here to often, I usually just read the posts from others here who are much more knowledgeable than I am. However, I have a 3513.50 Speedmaster date and your description doesn't sound like mine. The black dial is correct but my bezel is polished steel with black letters/numbers. All of the hands on my watch are silver as well as the hour markers, the Omega logo and the circles around the chrono functions. The writing of the words "Omega Speedmaster Automatic are either white or silver (my eyes can no longer tell for sure).

Now I am not saying you got a fake but I think the tag with the 3513.50 that you received could be wrong. Also you said they "just gave you a box". The watch should have come in a white outer box marked Omega and a red leather inner box. You should have received two cards, warranty and pictogram in a leather cardholder. You should also have received a manual indicating many different languages also. If you did not receive the watch like this and the dealer is an authorized Omega dealer, then I go back and question them on this.
