Meister was a jewellers ( Sorry I'm not sure where ) like Tiffanys or Türler. They Sold various watches with the word "Meister" added to the dial.
I'm not sure if this modification was done by Omega themsleves ( that is what I would bet on ) BEFORE they left the factory in Switzerland or if Meister had someone remove the dial, add the word & then rebuild the watch.
They have added the word Meister to various watches over the years, here are a couple of examples.
