Omega Constellation watch

My name is Alain and the reason I am writing to you is this. I was recently given an Omega Constellation as a present and I will like to verify it's authenticity. The watch is supposouly a vintage 18k solid gold piece. I took it to a couple of watchmakers and after a quick look they said that it was originally. However, after reading some internet articles I became doubtful. I called Omega but the costumer service representative could not help me with the numbers I gave her. She said that they did not have information in their database from such old models, and invited me to send a picture of it. The watch has the numbers (14900) and (62 SC) in the back case. The caliber is (551) and there is another number inside that reads (19990693). I have tried finding information that will result in a solid answer but yet, I have not reach it. I do not know if this is to much to ask but I will very much appreciate your help with this matter.

Yours,

Alain
