Details on Omega Seamaster *LINK*

I just bought a vintage (1960s?) Omega Seamaster, and I'm hoping someone can help me find more details on the watch, such as the year it was manufactured, whether it is authentic, etc.
I know the best way to identify it is by the serial number on the movement, but I have been unable to view the movement. This is an "open through crystal" watch, for which you need a special tool to squeeze the crystal to open it. I brought it to an Omega dealer, but they refused to open it for fear of liability if the crystal breaks.

Pictures and details of the watch are still on the website:

Thanks!
