You learned an interesting lesson, Ithink.

I suspect it would have been a learning experience no matter how it played out.

I do lots of interviews--a fair number of them which are printed in Q&A form-- and I find that the ones that go best are the ones where I don't work from a detailed list of questions, but just have a vague idea ofsomesubjects I'd like to hit.

Well, indeed, I knew I wanted to hit some broad topics but I also wanted to go into specific details on certain topics. If there is an unfortunate aspect of the published interview it is that it's distilled to get the most bang for the "per word" printed in the magazine. Hopefully, I'll be able to share more full accounts in the weeks ahead.

I find that I'm actually listening to the person I'm interviewing, and the next question flows naturallyfromthe previous answer.

There was quite a bit of that as well. It's typically best when the Interviewer set's up a question and lets the interviewee take off with the answer. There was quite a bit of letting Wally come through.

I'll look forward to seeing (finding, more tothepoint) the issue of IW.

I'm looking forward to finding a few copies for myself (for family and friends, mainly)!

best

Allen

P.S. Omega's U.S. offices are in Weehawken NJ?Iused to live there. Small world.

Well, Swatch Group's anyway. I suspect that maybe there isn't much distinction there.
