Speedy Date, 3211.30

Seriously considering a Speedmaster Date, Steel on Steel, 3211.30, so I'm looking for a little insight from the ever knowledgable posters of this forum.

I've yet to actually see this model in person so my first question is about case diameter. The Omega site says 40mm, but I've seen it posted on dealer sites at 37mm. Which is closer to the truth (not that 3mm is all that significant) ?

Second, the movement on this model (1164 auto)is not the same as used in the Speedy Pro (1861 manual). Any known reliability issues with it ?

Third, the Omega site states that it has a domed crystal, with AR coating. Is the AR coating only on the inside, as with my Bond SMP, or is it inside and outside, as with the PO ?

Any other thoughts anyone would like to share about this model ?

Thanks, as always.
