Best place to find used Speedy?

Hi all,

I am a newcomer to this forum... but I've been bit pretty hard by the Speedy bug, especially the Date (I find it to be almost necessary in a daily-wear watch). However, I am currently an undergraduate at Cal and am pretty short on cash, so I might have to wait for quite some time before I can afford it. However, I'd like to be on the prowl on some sales forums, etc., so when a good opportunity arises I can pop up and grab it. Where's the best place to find a used Speedy, online or in the Bay Area? I honestly don't care that much about scratches on the bracelet, or a little on the bezel (as long as it's not on the crystal), so I should be able to find a good deal right? What is the price range of a used speedy in various conditions? I want to see if it's even feasible right now.

I don't know what it is about the speedy... I've got a Seiko 5 that I really like, but the folded links are getting to me. If I won't be getting the Omega for years, I'm thinking of switching the Seiko bracelet for a Hadley-Roma solid link. Good idea?

Thanks for your help.
