A pic would be good Chris, also of the caseback.

168 of course indicates a chronometre. But 168.014 (as opposed to the number on the brochure were sold until about '67.) Often brochure numbers differ from the number stamped on the caseback

There were a number of 35.5mm models with 168 ref numbers in solid gold, so you really need to take a look at the caseback
