I'd ask the Omega Dealer what is their binding estimate for the refinishing on the bezel. You can buy a new bezel for $130 from Ofrei and have a watchmaker swap them for probably less than $25.
If the cost of sending the watch to Switzerland is more than that, I certainly wouldn't do it. And it would probably take 6-10 weeks to get your watch back from Switzerland [and they'd likely wish to do a full service [which is BUCKS] while they had it].
