Here is what women have done to us for years- it will work for you(trust me -I KNOW)
Buy The Speedy,remove all tags ( I suggest getting it good and dirty also, a light spritz of hair spray is good first) then toss it unceremoniously in a drawer or where you keep your old watches. After she's seen it awhile YOU "rediscover" it, "This old thing? had it forever. I wonder if it still works? Hey- look at that- it does! Think I'll wear it today."
After that it's just another watch.
