But from the info you supplied, Omega OVD indicates that its a genever from 1975. You dont say if the case is SS or gold plates, but I would imagine as a going concern it would be worth around the USD 250.00 if its clean and tidy.

Cal 1020 takes a fair bit of winding to get going. Try a slight flick of the wrist to see what happens.

: I inherited this watch a few years ago and have
: been trying to find out more about it this
: past year. I have already had some work done
: (new gasket and cleaning) and it is again
: not working. I would like to know an approx.
: value before proceeding with more work. I
: have the numbers from inside and they are
: not a possible combination according to
: Omega's records. A very reputable watch
: repair shop told me it is genuine. Here is
: the info. he gave me while he had it opened
: up: movement caliber: 1020
: movement serial: 38249003
: case style: 166.0188

: It does not have a collection name on the face
: (ie. Seamaster, etc) which has made it
: harder to research. It has a gold band,
: which may or may not be original. It does
: have the Omega symbol on the clasp. Any
: information is appreciate. Or point me in
: the right direction to further my research.

: Thanks!
